Mark Schow, PE

As the founder and principal engineer, Mark is responsible for all aspects of HVAC and energy efficiency design and engineering. This includes preparation of reports, drawings, and specifications, as well as review of shop drawings and construction administration. He has worked on systems for a variety of building types including office, retail, restaurants, hotels, laboratories, research, higher education, prisons, and central plants.

Saving energy through unique solutions and out of the box thinking is what drives me!

When not offering solutions to clients, Mark spends time with his wife and two children. The family enjoys mountain biking, volunteering, and traveling the world. Mark and family are the race directors for the Landmine Mountain Bike Classic, the largest mountain bike race in New England.

Emily Dillon
Mechanical Engineer

Emily earned her B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Wentworth Institute of Technology. In 2021, she joined EDI as a Mechanical Engineer. Emily is responsible for all aspects of HVAC design, documentation, and engineering. This includes preparation of reports, drawings, and specifications, as well as review of shop drawings and construction administration. Prior to joining EDI, Emily worked extensively in multifamily, mixed use, and commercial projects.

Thomas Hamwey
Fire Protection Designer

Tom has 7 years in the industry designing Fire Protection Sprinkler systems, project management, and client relations. Experience includes multifamily residential buildings, labs, hotels, warehouses, industrial testing facilities, fire pumps, schools from elementary to post-secondary, cultivation facilities, high-rises, and offices.

Ian Anderson
Plumbing Designer

As a plumbing designer, Ian handles a variety of tasks related to plumbing design, documentation, and engineering. This includes preparation of reports, drawings, and specifications, as well as review of shop drawings and construction administration. He has worked on systems for a variety of building types including office, retail, restaurants, multi-residential, mixed-use, and assisted living. The primary goal of each design is to provide each client with the most efficient and cost-effective systems available within the project constraints.

Brandon Clifton
Mechanical Engineer

A recent grad with a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering, Brandon has experience working for a large mechanical contractor as a piping coordinator and in the creation of spool pieces for fabrication. With EDI Brandon has been focused on traditional MEP engineering for a variety of building types as well as coordination projects for mechanical contractors.
